The EYE of the Avian is upon you:
bold and bright,
regally shining -
An entrée into the soul
of each creature. 
		
Feathers reflect the light,
giving character
to the body -
Which is alert and ready
for instantaneous lift-off. 
	
Close-up and personal,
is a rewarding situation.
Larger than life personalities
become apparent -
of those whom have seemed a mystery.

An ornithological world
is a rich world.
A world devoid of these riches
would be a sad world
indeed!
